Responsabilidades

  • Ejecutar la estrategia de comunicación definida, adaptando el mensaje y el contenido a los diferentes tonos y características de cada red sociales.
  • Establecer relaciones estratégicas con talentos, artistas, líderes de opinión, instituciones de discapacidad y medios de comunicación, que promuevan y fomenten visibilidad a Fundación Teletón.
  • Brindar apoyo en la gestión estratégica de medios de comunicación tradicionales y digitales para promover los diferentes eventos y actividades de la Fundación.
  • Analizar los resultados de los principales KPI’s digitales y transformarlos en planes de acción, para aumentar la comunidad en las redes sociales, fomentando la creación de comunidades más interactivas y comprometidas.
  • Apoyar en la construcción del plan estratégico anual de comunicaciones de la Fundación incluyendo comunicación institucional, interna y externa.
  • Apoyar en el diseño y ejecutar el plan de manejo de crisis y relaciones públicas de la Fundación.
  • Comunicar a la organización los eventos y actividades realizadas por la Fundación, tanto a nivel interno como externo, asegurando que toda la información sea difundida de manera clara y oportuna.
  • Administrar, gestionar y colocar la pauta digital, asegurando una correcta distribución y optimización en las plataformas correspondientes.
  • Gestionar la relación y coordinar las actividades con la agencia digital, asegurando la correcta ejecución de las estrategias y campañas digitales.

PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILIDADES

  • Knowledge and understanding of vertically integrated marketing philosophies.

Objetivo

LOCATION: Hybrid (Remote work outside of events, on site for events.)
 
PURPOSE OF POSITION: Supports the marketing within the local association. This internship is responsible for social media strategy, content creation, and community engagement.  The intern works closely with local association leadership offers experience in a professional workplace and is an ideal training environment for the marketing/professional sports industry.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in creating engaging, high-quality content (graphics, photos, videos, captions) and manage regional social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok. 
  • Monitor and engage with fans, athletes, coaches, and local softball communities across social media platforms by responding to comments, messages, and mentions. 
  • Assist in real-time social media coverage of regional events and tournaments, including live tweeting, Instagram stories, and behind-the-scenes content. 
  • Support the planning and scheduling of social media posts to ensure consistent content flow and alignment with USA Softball’s marketing calendar. 
  • Stay current on social media trends, hashtags, and best practices, incorporating these into regional campaigns to increase engagement and reach. 
  • Assist in tracking and analyzing social media metrics to gauge the effectiveness of regional campaigns and improve future content strategies. 
  • Work closely with the national marketing team and local associations to ensure alignment of messaging and content across all platforms. 
  • Edit and produce all content for social media platforms provided by the photo/video intern and associated teams. Capture video content of games and special events as assigned.
  • Assist with other tasks as directed by the Local Association Commissioner or Working Director.
  • Support general communication efforts, including generating content for various publications and social media platforms with special attention to USA Softball grassroots programming. 
  • Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
 
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be a graduating senior in high school or enrolled in a college credit internship program, preferably pursuing a degree in business, sports administration, marketing, communications or a related major.
  • Internship requires a minimum of 10-20 hours per week.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and SafeSport trained upon hiring.
  • Superior attention to detail, especially under pressure of deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, etc.) and content management tools. 
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) is a plus. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to create engaging content. 
  • Basic understanding of social media metrics and analytics. Flexible and adaptable, willing to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
  • Passionate about diamond sports.

CNN is looking for a Manager of Product Marketing to support strategy and execution of customer acquisition and retention initiatives across web, app, and CTV platforms for our Digital Products & Services division within the Growth Product Marketing team. This role will report to the Director of Product Marketing and be responsible for facilitating go-to-market campaigns that drive subscriptions, translating brand fundamentals into product contexts, optimizing campaign performance, maximizing return on spend, and ensuring that acquisition and retention efforts align with broader company goals. The Manager will work with the Director and VP to align on strategic goals, develop internal processes, and define our product positioning and target audience understanding. 

Your Role Accountabilities 

  • GTM Strategy: Develop and execute GTM strategies across paid and owned channels, with a focus on lead generation and top-of-funnel tactics to drive acquisition. Partner closely with WBD Media team to develop and execute strategies and set up campaigns. 

  • Positioning and Messaging: Translate brand fundamentals to a product context, inspiring creative asset development with creative briefs that are grounded in actionable research insights. 

  • Retention and Lifecycle Management: Design and implement targeted multi-channel campaigns to nurture subscribers at different lifecycle stages, reduce churn, and improve subscriber LTV. 

  • App Store Optimization: Develop and execute a comprehensive ASO strategy to increase app discoverability and conversion rates, managing direct relationships with Apple and Google counterparts.  

  • End-to-end Channel Management and Expansion: Ensure existing channels meet subscription goals and identify growth opportunities in new channels and emerging platforms. 

  • Campaign Optimization: Lead day-to-day management and optimization of live campaigns, focusing on improving CPA/CPL metrics and engagement rates. 

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Creative, Brand, Product, and other teams to align initiatives with product roadmaps, while providing guidance on campaign best practices, identifying risks, and outlining opportunities. 

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Continuously analyze campaign performance data, leveraging A/B testing, segmentation, and attribution models to refine strategies. Define success metrics and build clear test plans. 

  • Strategic Planning: Support larger Product Marketing team in setting vision, goals, and KPIs throughout the year. 

 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, growth marketing, or product marketing, preferably in a B2C subscription-based business. 

  • Strong track record in performance marketing, including paid media management and funnel optimization. 

  • Deep, hands-on digital product marketing knowledge for web, app, and CTV environments. 

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM tools, and strong understanding of A/B testing and cohort analysis. 

  • Data-driven approach with experience in customer journey analysis, attribution modeling, and acquisition funnel optimization. 

  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills. 

  • Excellent communication skills and experience reporting to leadership on results and initiatives. 

  • Strategic thinking ability, balancing long-term vision with short-term execution. 

  • Experience in a news environment is a a plus.
